Founders might be frustrated because they come from a different place than most private equiteer investors.

No so bad though, Columbus was the ultimate in &quot;cluelessness&quot;...but, after 500 years we still celebrate his cluelessness every day.</description>

		<description>I think you don&#039;t even have to argue that founders are clueless - points 4,5 and six prove it fairly clearly. In fact, I&#039;d argue that most of us are clueless in most things that matter, since at best we saw something fairly similar, but not exactly the same.

I think the point there is that being clueless doesn&#039;t matter as long as you&#039;re at least vaguely aware that you are clueless (which is harder than it sounds). 

I think Mark Suster&#039;s seagulls are those who don&#039;t/can&#039;t admit they can be clueless (or, at least don&#039;t want to look clueless).</description>
