		<description>It&#039;s always a worry when firms change their focus like that. PE and VC oscillate between good and bad times, but IPs&#039; skills and experience don&#039;t move with those cycles. They&#039;re such different beasts.

With that said, a resourceful and committed IP with entrepreneurial experience may do better switching from PE to VC. So it&#039;s really case-by-case.</description>
